Wow, for many Bollywood fans out there, nah, Shah Rukh Khan will finally gets his delayed Malaysian "knighthood" on December 6. He will be presented with an award from southern Malacca state which carries the title "Datuk" or equivalent to a British knighthood. That was huge!He supposed to received the award on 29 November but was postponed by the state official. So coming this Dec 6, SRK will receive the honour dressed in a traditional Malay outfit with a black wraparound cloth as well as a Songkok, a hat usually worn by Malay Muslims but also worn by non-Muslims at state functions and about 1000 invites will witness the ceremony. Various parties criticize the award presentation claiming that it should go to the local artists or celebrities but Heyho?!Do they promote Malaysia to the eye of the world? Since the filming of Khan's 2001 movie, "One 2 Ka 4" at a popular resort in Malacca, the number of tourists coming from India has increased significantly. Malaysia has become a popular location for Indian films, which have a huge following among ethnic Indians and the majority Muslim-Malays. So, don't SRK deserves one?He had done something people!
There's a somebody I'm longing to see, I hope that somebody turns out to be someone who watch over me..

welz... i almost dropped laughing at first knowing about this SRK + Datuk thing. but, to think it over.. yeah... he did deserved to have the title (ridiculous... yes, but, get used to the idea.. and its finally make sense). he deserved it better than most of the local datuks around.... i guess..
haha..ya its true. So many people keep complaining about this thing. But, see the number of tourists especially from India increase so rapidly. At least he did something and he deserves it..Some datuks receive their 'datukship' in the sense that we did not know what are their contribution to the country!funny~lol.
